Story :

Andhala Rakshasi is a tale of two love stories that have one common point. The story revolves around Mithuna (Lavanya), a beautiful small town girl. Gautham (Rahul) who is a part time guitarist, and Surya (Naveen) who is a scrap artist, fall in love with Mithuna. She means everything to them, and they do not know each other.

From Mithuna’s perspective though, it is Surya who has a place in her heart. A romantic track between the two is cut short by a cruel twist of fate. From then on, it is Gautham who comes into Mithuna’s life. Though she recognizes Gautham’s feelings and respects him, true love never fully develops. Fate once again intervenes towards the end and turns the whole story upside down.

What happens to Surya and Mithuna? Why does he move out of her life and why does Gautham come in? These are the things which need to be watched on the big screen

Performances :

• Lavanya is awesome in the movie.She gets the best debut character to perform.She looks charming,Beautiful.She gets a lot of fans through her debut movie including me.
• Naveen Chandra gets a good debut.His performance in some crutial scenes is incredible.his involvement is amazing as a lover.He has got a good future ahead with his good performance in andala rakshashi.
• Rahul is decent in the movie.He needs to improve in the coming movies.His voice and style of tlaking reminds us of Siddharth.
• Other characters are good and suited to the situation.

Technical Aspects :

The movie locations are superb.Cinematography by G.Murali debutant is amazing.Art director S.Rama Krishna done a fabulous work,especially the pottait of the heroine erected only with Bottles of different colours is fantastic.New director Hanu Raghavapudi has got a lot's of creativity and talent. His style of narration is good but we feel that he gets confused in narrating the script.Music & BGM by Radhan is the main plus for this movie.Other departments are decent.

• Feel of the movie is carried through out the movie.
• Picturisation of songs.

Negatives :

• Screenplay could have been better
• Slow paced first half & lack of entertainment  scenes in first half
• Climax which doesn't suit the minds of telugu people.

Verdict :

"Andhal Rakshasi" a typical movie.You will like it if you get involved in this movie and enjoy the feel in it.Personally i liked it a lot.Even when i got out the theatre I remembered the scenes in the movie.Finally it is a fresh love film.
