MANI RATNAM AND ILAYARAJA?

There were reports that AR Rahman is quite busy with some international projects and so could not sign up Mani Ratnam’s Kadal. This led to talks that Mani Ratnam would go back to Ilayaraja with whom he had given hit songs in the past.

It may be mentioned here that Mani Ratnam had said that working with Ilayaraja is a wonderful experience and he is longing for those days. This gave rise to a speculation that the two would get back together. But eventually, AR Rahman was roped in, as his dates were available.

In a sudden turn of events, Ravi Teja has opted out of a film that Nandini Reddy is directing. Siddarth has replaced Ravi Teja, reports our sources in the tinsel town. Earlier, Nandini Reddy had signed up Ravi Teja and Samantha to play the lead roles in this film.

But due to unavoidable circumstances, Ravi Teja had to opt out. Samantha, however, remains in the star cast and she will be paired opposite Siddarth.

Rachcha Delay Due to NTR ??

Reshooting has become a trend in Telugu Industry. While Rajamouli is said to have played the role of a screen doc in his dad's Rajanna, RGV has also done a similar feat for the film Bejawada. Following this trend, Ram Charan Teja’s Rachcha which was supposed to hit the screens during the fag end of March, 2012 has been put off by a couple of months. It is said that the delay in the release is because the director is re-shooting some important scenes.

Reshooting and Screen Doctoring is not a new in Hollywood. Infact many of them have a reshooting schedule to accomodate the beautification of important scenes.

However, Jr NTR’s fans opine that Ram Charan is beleaguered by Jr NTR’s Dammu releasing on April 27th. A few days gap between the releases of these two films will hurt the chances Rachcha and so it is postponed, say sources. It is to be seen how Cherry and A1 Star will perform in their new movies after the old ones bombed.

Chiranjeevi is looking to make a comeback and there is a buzz that Shankar may direct this film. But sources close to the director say that Shankar is not in a position to direct the mega star. Shankar apparently does not have the right script for Chiru.
Further, the director is said to be working on a script that will feature Vikram and this tops his priority now, we are told.

Young tiger is eying the first position in Tollywood. After the last year's disasters, the actor is taking no chances to make the best of the movies. NTR has three movies lined up for the year 2012.

First in the line is Dammu directed by Boyapati Sreenu which will be released in April. His next movie is with Srinu Vaitla for which the script work is currently going on. The title of the movie is being buzzed as Actionwith Entertainment as the caption while others are gossiping the title as Baadshah.

Next in the pipeline is Puri Jagannath’s action entertainer which starts shooting in August, as confirmed by the director. With so many movies on the cards, it’ll be interesting to see how many releases NTR will have this year.

Mahesh Babu Sukumar Film Launched

Superstar’s new film with director Sukumar was launched today at Ramanaidu studios. Mahesh Babu did not attend the launch as he is away in Bangkok shooting for an ad. Producer Ram and Gopi Achanta, Anil Sunkara along with director Sukumar and music director Devi Shree Prasad attended the function. Apart from the crew of the film producers Dil Raju, BVSN Prasad and Burugupalli Sivaramakrishna attended the event. Director SS Rajamouli too came in to wish the unit all the best.

Although denied Tamannah is still expected to be the heroine of the film. Regular shooting of the film is expected to start from March and the film is being readied for a Sankranthi release.

Allari Naresh-servanand-sriya 'Nuvva Nena' audio on Feb 18

As per the latest reports, Mass Raja Allari Naresh upcoming film 'Nuvva Nena' will have its audio release on Febraury 18.Allari Naresh and Sharwanand are acting together in this film after 'Gamyam'. Shriya and vimala raman are playing the female leads.  

A debutante Narayana will direct this film and Vamsi Krishna who is produced Solo with Nara Rohith in the lead is the producing this film on SVK cinema banner. This is a remake of Bollywood film Deewana Mastana. Beems is the music director for this film and Manishrama composing the back score. 

Dr Brahmanandam, Ali, Jeeva, Srinivasa Reddi, Raghu, Kove Sarala and others are playing prominent roles in this film. For this movie story is by Surya and cinematography is by Dasaradi shivendra. The movie is expected to release some time in next month.

'Poola Rangadu' Censored and confirmed on Feb 18

Director Veerabadram’s new film 'Poola Rangadu' has completed its censor scrutiny recently. The film awarded U/A certificate with minor cuts from censor board panel. The film has Sunil and Isha Chawla in the lead roles. K.Acchi Reddy produced the film on  Max India Entertainments banner. 

The movie is gearing up for a grand release on February 18th on the occasion of Mahashivaratri with record number of theaters in Sunil's career. Anoop Rubens has scored music for this comedy entertainer with love story backdrop. The film has a positive report and our sources claim that Sunil will get another hit with this movie.

 Sunil is sporting six pack abs for the first time in his career.The songs are instant hits among audience and the first look stills have taken the hype on this movie to next level. The makers are planning for platinum disc function soon.

SAMANTHA-NANI-GOUTHAM MEMON-eto velli poindi manasu

Young hero Nani new movie under Goutam menon's direction has been titled as 'Eto Velli Poyindi Manasu'. It is a bilingual and is being made simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu. Samantha is romancing with Nani in this movie.   

Jeeva replaces Nani in Tamil version, where it is titled as 'Neethane Yen Pon Vasantham'. The movie is currently being shot in and around Chennai and more than 50 percent of the shoot is completed. 

Maestro Ilayaraja composing the music for this film. AR Rahman was supposed to score for this film but he walked out of the project. The movie is touted to be a romantic comedy and it has been planned for summer release.
