Lenovo prepares K800 smartphone, available at end of May

Lenovo is almost done working on the long-expected K800 smartphone and the Chinese company now says that the electronic device will hit the market at the end of May this year.
The K800 is based on the Intel Medfield platform and houses an Intel Atom Z2460 processor at 1.6 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, PowerVR SGX 540 GPU, an 8 MP camera with ISO 3200 and a 4.5-inch sensor display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. The smartphone also fully supports NFC, WiDi, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 3.0 and has a GPS system.

The novelty also comes with the rather mysterious Intel Avatar technology but Lenovo says it will reveal more details about it later on.
The Lenovo K800 smartphone will run Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Pricing is unknown.
